Face Reality® is an award-winning acne treatment program proven to give clear, healthy skin. Their unique combination of professional-grade products and guidance from one of our Face Reality® Certified Acne Experts takes the guesswork and frustration out of acne treatment.
If you are under 18 years old, a parent must be present in the room during the treatment and you must have a parental consent form filled out and on file.

The Process:
The first 30 minutes of this appointment is an in-depth consultation with an acne expert. We will discuss everything from what acne is, your specific case, lifestyle factors that could be causing breakouts, and your recommended customized Face Reality® Skincare regimen. Following the consultation will be a customized hour long facial plus LED light therapy. You will be sent consultation documents by a certified Face Reality® esthetician from The Grove Spa within 2 days of booking your appointment. Please make sure your email is accurate at the time of booking.
Additional Pricing Information:
Face Realty® Skincare products can only be purchased if you commit to the 12-week program, which consists of 6 bi-weekly 1-hour follow-up treatments. The cost for this program is $750 and will be charged at the time of your visit. This does not include the initial $175 consultation and facial, or the cost of skincare products.

Acne Blood Panel & Assessment
Pricing: $425

Alongside a 45-minute functional medicine visit with our nurse practitioners, who hold advanced certification in endocrinology, we provide a thorough understanding of your skin health. This comprehensive approach empowers you to take control of your skincare journey. Say goodbye to guessing and hello to a personalized solution for clearer skin.
Our acne blood test looks at the following:

Androgens: Total and free testosterone, DHEA-S, and SHBG to check for high male hormone levels that increase oil production.

Metabolic Markers: Fasting insulin, blood glucose, and HbA1c to see if blood sugar issues or insulin resistance affect your skin.

Hormones & Thyroid: Estrogen, progesterone, LH/FSH, prolactin, and thyroid panels (TSH) to rule out underlying endocrine imbalances.

Inflammation & Nutrients: High-sensitivity CRP (hs-CRP), zinc, and vitamin D to assess systemic inflammation and skin-healing health.
A consultation is required prior to booking the blood panel and visit. One of our Nurse Practitioners who specializes in endocrinology will consult with you to ensure you are a good candidate and answer any questions you may have about the process. The $50 fee is waived if you book your lab draw appointment on the day of your consultation.
It is recommended that the blood panel and assessment be done in conjunction with the Face Reality® Acne Program for best results.
