The Process:
Radiesse® is hyperdiluted with saline and lidocaine (for comfort) and injected directly into the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin, giving immediate results. The ingredients in Radiesse also stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, so results will continue to improve over the course of several months. The procedure is completed in less than one hour, with minimal downtime. You may experience some swelling at the injection sites which generally resolves within a week. Mild to moderate bruising, tenderness, itching, and redness are other common side-effects.
Common Treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, above the knees, elbows, buttocks, hands, and upper arms.
